By Jackson Moore, Duck Territory: One of the Oregon Ducks’ top men’s basketball players will miss the bulk of the preseason – and possibly more – with an injury. Oregon announced on Friday that junior guard Jackson Shelstad broke his hand and will be sidelined for at least a month.
Shelstad was Oregon’s second-leading scorer last season at 13.7 points per game. He also added 2.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1 steal per game with a team-high 32.9 minutes averaged. Shelstad did not miss a single game last year and he also played in 32 of 36 as a freshman the year prior.
