By Trent Wood, Deseret News: With two games played against ranked SEC opponents this season — No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 16 Vanderbilt — Utah State has reportedly pocketed more than $2.5 million for USU athletics.
Those “money games” will no doubt be helpful for Utah State as it transitions to the remade Pac-12 Conference next summer. Moving conferences is an expensive endeavor.
