The first Pac-12 football games of the 2022 season will come at the end of this week, with Arizona State kicking things off against Northern Arizona on Thursday.

Despite a tumultuous offseason that saw 16 players transfer away from the Sun Devils’ program, ASU could still have some upside with Emory Jones at QB this year.

Still, they remain arguably the biggest question mark in the Pac-12 heading into this season and have plenty to watch for against an FCS opponent on Thursday.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I’m joined by Richie Bradshaw, host of Locked On Sun Devils.

Emory Jones is the most notable newcomer for ASU in 2022, but which other guys could contribute as new faces in Tempe this year for Herm Edwards?

We conclude by getting into the other non-Saturday game in the Pac-12 this week when Colorado hosts TCU.

The Buffs may struggle in 2022 given a sub-optimal offseason, but in Week 1 are they being undervalued against TCU at home as a double-digit underdog?

The Horned Frogs are incorporating a new coaching staff while playing on the road, which may lead to the Buffs keeping it closer than some may think.
