Less than a year removed from Mario Cristobal’s departure from Oregon’s head coaching role left a sour taste in the mouth of many Duck fans, some are once again wary of the wild world of the coaching carousel.

Now that an SEC job has come open at Auburn, could either Dan Lanning (who has an SEC background) or Kenny Dillingham (who coached at Auburn) be lured away?

On today’s episode of Locked On Ducks, I explain why it’s not impossible, but also not super likely that either of the Ducks’ two most important coaches could get poached by Auburn so early in their tenure in Eugene.

Plus, I pick up where his brain left off in a momentary blank from yesterday’s show.

Oregon WR Seven McGee announced he will be leaving the Duck program to explore his options in the transfer portal. It’s not the first time he’s considered leaving, and now he’s finally pulling the trigger.

It never helps to lose a player of his talent, but there’s no sincere cause for alarm when looking at Oregon’s depth of offensive weapons.
