Pac-12

San Diego State is well positioned to make the jump to a Power 5 conference and the Pac-12, and for several reasons, is a perfect fit.

If the league’s media deal or announcement of expansion teams isn’t done properly, the Big 12 would certainly be interested in adding the Aztecs.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I discuss a pressing need for commissioner George Kliavkoff.

If all goes as Pac-12 fans would like it to, the league will survive and thrive with a deal ending around 2030.

Could they go after Power 5 programs in expansion at that time?

NCAA logoAlso, the NCAA Transfer Portal has dramatically changed how college athletics work for all sports, and for College Football it’s been amended to create two windows where players can transfer schools.

The second window, originally scheduled for May 1st to the 15th, has been moved up by a couple of weeks to overlap with Spring Football. That could make life a touch more challenging for coaches and staffs.
