The Pac-12’s projected timeline for a media rights deal has been extended once again, and according to reports from Stewart Mandel and others, it could go all the way to Spring or even early Summer.

There’s perhaps no school watching these talks more closely—and nervously—than Oregon State.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I am joined by Carter Bahns of BeaverBlitz.com.

We lay out the case for why it’s so crucial that Oregon State be able to remain in the Pac-12 now and in the future.

If the Pac-12 were to get submarined by the Big Ten down the line, Oregon State’s most likely potential options would be the Big 12 or the Mountain West—and a Power 5 offer might be optimistic.

For now, however, the Beavs are in the Pac-12 along with everyone else, so Carter also gives an update from Spring Practice in Corvallis.
