By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: When Jedd Fisch took the podium on Monday for an offseason update, he was quick to acknowledge the hire of former Purdue head coach Ryan Walters as Washington’s new defensive coordinator, replacing Steve Belichick who jetted off to North Carolina for a position on his father’s coaching staff.

However, Fisch seems to believe he’s made the best possible hire.
