By Griffin McVeigh, On3 Sports: A few NFL teams are working through the hiring process, arguably none more high stakes than the Dallas Cowboys. A few interviews have taken place since firing Mike McCarthy, talking to Kellen Moore and Robert Saleh. Leslie Frazier is thought to be involved as well. But that trio is not as widely publicly discussed as Deion Sanders.
There has not been an official interview set up and according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, one never may take place. On Sunday, Rapoport said he would be surprised if the Cowboys interviewed Sanders for the job.
There have been conversations, specifically with Jerry Jones, but appears to be nothing more.
