By Scott Eklund, Dawgman: Washington continued their aggressive recruiting strategy recently when they sent out an offer to 2024 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Ca.) ATHÂ Jaylen’Dai Sumlin. At 6’3″ and 190 pounds and possessing a lot of athleticism, he could be a playmaker on either side of the ball, but Washington sees him as a rangy safety with the ability to come down and hit.
“Coach (Chuck) Morrell is the coach who offered me, so they like me as a safety,” Sumlin told Dawgman.com.
