Former Washington players, coaches at center of Belichick mess at UNC

By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: It’s no secret that the first year of Bill Belichick’s tenure with the North Carolina Tar Heels has been messy to say the least. As if their 2-3 record wasn’t bad enough, things have gone from bad to worse for some former members of the Washington Huskies.

According to a report from Pat Welter from WRAL News, a pair of former Huskies who started for Jedd Fisch’s team in 2024 under defensive coordinator Steve Belichick, cornerback Thaddeus Dixon and linebacker Khmori House, have been the subjects of preferential treatment from the new regime, which has led to a divided locker room in Chapel Hill.
