Dawgman: Orlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz, a former No. 1 overall pick, left Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with an apparent knee injury. Fultz was the top pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, but was traded to Orlando midway through the 2018-19 season.
Fultz was driving toward the basket when his landed awkwardly on his left leg before collapsing to the floor. There was no immediately word on the severity of Fultz’s injury. A report later stated that Fultz had suffered a torn ACL, an injury that likely means he would not be able to play again until next season at the earliest.
