By Associated Press via The Oregonian/OregonLive: Marcus Mariota will start for the Washington Commanders on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, stepping in for Jayden Daniels, who is sidelined with a left knee injury. It will be Mariota’s first start since 2022 with the Atlanta Falcons.
For a third consecutive day, Daniels was unable to practice fully on Friday, and coach Dan Quinn said the reigning AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year won’t play this week.
