By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: Former Oregon guard turned Duck assistant coach Yasir Rosemond has reunited with the Duck program. Rosemond, who had spent the past four years at Indiana, has been hired to join Dana Altman’s staff, the school announced on Monday afternoon.
Rosemond played two seasons for the Ducks (1997-99) and returned to Oregon to complete his degree requirements in 2003 after his professional playing career concluded. He then spent five seasons from 2005-10 working for Ernie Kent as an assistant. While with the Ducks, he coached three future NBA draft picks in Aaaron Brooks, Maarty Leunen and Malik Hairston.
