By Charlie Strella, Buffaloes Wire: The Jacksonville Jaguars officially signed No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter Sunday evening after a few months of negotiations.
The 2024 Heisman Trophy winner and former Colorado football star signed a groundbreaking four-year, $46.65 million rookie deal, marking a unique moment for NFL rookie contracts. Hunter will receive his $30.57 million signing bonus entirely upfront, making him the first non-quarterback not drafted first overall to be given that pay structure, as noted by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
