By Greg Witter, Cougfan.com: Jake Dickert’s Mom, Becky, doesn’t remember who’s birthday it was — Jake’s or older brother Jesse’s — but somewhere around 1998 or ’99 she decided to mark the occasion by painting the walls of the boys’ shared bedroom in colors she knew they’d love.
“We lived in a big Victorian home in Okanto and the boys had the entire third floor,” she remembers. “I thought it would be a fun surprise.”
