By Jack Carlough, Buffaloes Wire: After rolling into Kansas City as the No. 16 seed, the last-place Colorado Buffaloes have now completed two impressive upsets in the Big 12 men’s basketball tournament.
Head coach Tad Boyle’s Buffs knocked off ninth-seeded TCU in the opening round on Tuesday and carried that momentum into a 67-60 upset of eighth-seeded West Virginia on Wednesday.
Their reward? Top-seeded Houston in the Big 12 Tournament quarterfinals.
