BuffStampede: Three-and-a-half months post-surgery, future Buff defensive lineman Tyas Martin is on the path to a full recovery. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Martin had to go under the knife to fix a back injury he suffered while doing squats last summer.
“I was still working out while I was hurt… I didn’t know it was serious until later,” he recapped. “I went in and got the MRI and they realized it was serious. Not too many come back from the type of injury that I had because my disc had actually slipped out of place.”
