The influx of cash is a big reason why, and some of the top talents are taking notice. A large chunk of the top hoopers in the world will play college basketball next season.
Freshmen have taken their licks from veteran-laden teams in the past, but five-stars like Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, Ace Bailey, Liam McNeeley, VJ Edgecombe and plenty of others are expected to have major roles in 2024-25. Some of the top international talents like Egor Demin and Kasparas Jakucionis are flocking to the United States looking to cash in on the bundles of money to be had in college basketball.
