By Allen Trieu, Bear Territory: Cal has received a commitment from Edina (Minn.) junior Meyer Swinney. A three-star athlete, Swinney will play on offense as a hybrid pass-catcher for the Golden Bears.
He credits wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator Burl Toler and the staff with making him feel comfortable with this decision. Toler initially offered Swinney exactly a year ago to the day.
