By Tom Fornelli and Dennis Dodd, CBS Sports: Colorado expects Deion Sanders to formally join the program as its next head football coach Saturday evening following the 2022 SWAC Championship Game, sources close to the hiring process tell CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd.
A forthcoming decision by Sanders had been expected for weeks as multiple FBS offers came his way, but “Coach Prime” has chosen not to make his intentions known until after Jackson State faces Southern for the SWAC title.
