By Dylan Haugh, CougFan: LeJuan Watts, the Big Sky Conference Rookie of the Year and Eastern Washington second-year freshman entered the transfer portal Monday and tells Cougfan.com he already has a trip to Pullman planned for next Monday as David Riley and the Cougs look to replenish a roster that’s largely in the transfer portal following Kyle Smith’s move to Stanford.
The 6-6, 233-pound guard-forward hybrid appeared in 32 games, averaging 9.4 points on 61-percent field goal shooting, 4.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in his first season of college basketball after redshirting in 2022-23.
