Sun Devil Source: Arizona State sophomore wide receiver Jordan Kerley has opted out of the college football season due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, two people directly familiar with the development told Sun Devil Source.
Kerley, who is the first known ASU player to opt-out of the campaign, was not with the team during summer workouts and is not expected to rejoin it for at least the remainder of the fall semester. He is taking online classes with the school and could return to the team next year.
