Sun Devil Source: Arizona State senior point guard Holland Woods, who transferred to the program from Portland State in April and was granted a waiver for immediate eligibility in August, is a beneficiary of Wednesday’s NCAA’s Division I Council decision that awarded all winter athletes an additional year of eligibility.
The rule change allows Woods to play this season and next season, after the Sun Devils are expected to lose senior guards Remy Martin and Alonzo Verge Jr. and could potentially also lose prized freshmen Marcus Bagley and Joshua Christopher to the NBA.
