ASU football to test facial recognition system for student ticketing

By Dane Palmer, AZCentral/The Arizona Republic via Yahoo Sports: After two sold-out home football games and record student turnouts, Arizona State officials are looking for ways to ease entry to jam-packed Mountain America Stadium. So the school is turning to facial recognition technology for help.

ASU will begin using the technology on a trial basis for student ticketing as early as an Oct. 25 game against Houston.
