By Ezra Amacher, Arizona Desert Storm: Add gold medalist to Tommy Lloyd’s growing list of achievements as a head coach.
Lloyd coached the USA Basketball Men’s U18 team to a gold medal, as the Americans defeated Argentina 110-70 Sunday to take home first place in the FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship.
The Arizona coach was joined on staff by Texas Tech coach Grant McCasland (Texas and Notre Dame coach Micah Shrewsberry.
