By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: The Washington Huskies have been making a big push for one of the top players in California in the 2026 class, four-star wide receiver Vance Spafford from Mission Viejo High School.
Spafford, who has been committed to coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs since November 2024, has been up to Washington for a pair of unofficial visits since making his pledge. First, he came up for Jedd Fisch’s Junior Day weekend in March, and returned to take in a spring practice in April.
