By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: On Friday, Tyler Linhardt announced his verbal commitment to the Washington Huskies, as the 6-foot-7 forward from King’s – best-known as Corey Kispert’s alma mater – picked the Hoop Dawgs over offers from Eastern Washington, Boise State, Washington State, Portland, and interest from Gonzaga, Stanford, Pepperdine, Santa Clara, and Oregon State.
Linhardt, the reigning State 1A Player of the Year after leading King’s to the 1A title over Lynden Christian, was offered by Washington 10 months ago. Former UW Assistant Coach Dave Rice was the main coach recruiting Linhardt for the Huskies.
