Zemek: Chip Kelly & Pete Carroll represent an all-time Pac-10 'what if'

By Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: It is fascinating that Chip Kelly and Pete Carroll, former head coaches at UCLA and USC, will now be on the same staff with the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL. Kelly was hired by the Raiders as Carroll’s new offensive coordinator. It will be very interesting to see how this football marriage works out in Vegas.

As we contemplate what’s next for the Raiders, though, we can’t help but look back on the Pac-10 and Pac-12 and wonder what might have been for these two coaches, mindful of what Kelly did at Oregon right after Carroll dominated at USC.
