By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Going into his third year of college football at Washington State, punter Nick Haberer still comes across rules he is unfamiliar with. The 6-5, 218-pound Australian says he knows the basics, but still finds himself occasionally surprised. Take the spike to kill the clock, for example.
“The other day, we just so happened to be learning how to spike the ball in case of a scenario if that ever pops up,” Haberer said with a laugh.
