CougFan.com: Jo Washburn, a key figure in super-charging women’s sports at the college level and a member of the WSU Athletics Hall of Fame, died on Tuesday, the school said in a release. Her career at Washington State spanned 39 years, including serving as the women’s athletic director from 1965-1982 when there were two ADs.
