WSU’s Jimmy Rogers discusses starting QB Jaxon Potter over Zevi Eckhaus

By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: So what happened with Zevi Eckhaus? It’s the question Coug Nation has been asking since Saturday when Jaxon Potter won the starting QB job. There were other pressing questions after the narrow 13-10 win vs. Idaho on Saturday but during his Monday press conference, Jimmy Rogers talked more on the decision to go with Potter over Eckhaus.

“Zevi’s a great person, great leader and speaker on this team,” Rogers said. “He’s got a great connection with everybody on the team. It was a really close race. It wasn’t really what Zevi isn’t. It’s just more so what Potter was doing right.
