And now the crimson faithful hope history will repeat itself. Kirby Moore — the Pride of Prosser known for stout offenses at Missouri and Fresno State — is believed to be the next coach of the Cougars, two sources in position to know tell Cougfan.com.
Moore is expected to be named the 36th full-time head coach in WSU history this afternoon, with a mandatory meeting of the football team called for 2 p.m. In recent days, Moore’s  name went from among many on the crimson hotboards to smoke to fire.
