By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State’s starting free safety Sam Lockett has broken his hand, Jake Dickert announced after practice on Tuesday. Whatever happened to Lockett appears likely to have happened late in Monday’s practice because the 6-1, 207-pound Spokane product practiced in full yesterday.
“We had Sam Lockett break his hand in an off the field deal,” Dickert said. “(He’ll be back) hopefully sooner than later.”
