WSU, SJSU, Stanford, Utah among men's hoops teams with recent top transfers

By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: Action in the college basketball transfer portal continues even as the final days of May count down. The recent record-setting window closed at the beginning of the month, but numerous high-profile transfers have since made their commitment decisions for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Arkansas, Auburn, Louisville, North Carolina, Tennessee and others recently added to their respective transfer portal hauls for the 2024 cycle. Four transfers in the top-100 rankings came off the board in the past week, including former North Florida guard Chaz Lanier, New Mexico power forward JT Toppin and Kentucky guard DJ Wagner, who were all among the best available players prior to their decision.

The list of best available players remaining in the college basketball transfer portal is still stacked with top talents for those teams looking to fill specific needs ahead of next season. However, only six of the top-100 transfer prospects are uncommitted with some also testing the NBA Draft process.
