By Jamey Vinnick, Coufan.com: The Washington State secondary made plays throughout Day 1 of spring football drills Tuesday, although the wide receivers had their fair share of success too. The defensive backs picked off WSU quarterbacks twice and broke up an additional 11 passes by our count.
Iowa Western CC transfer Jamorri Colson (6-0, 172) had a strong debut with an interception of John Mateer and two pass breakups as he worked at cornerback.
