By CougFan.com: Washington State men’s basketball isn’t easing into Year 2 under head man David Riley — the Cougs are diving straight into rivalry games, cross-country road trips, and a historic trip to paradise.
The Cougars’ 2025-26 nonconference schedule, released Thursday, features six home games, three true road contests, and four neutral-site battles — including WSU’s first-ever appearance at the Maui Invitational.
The season opener comes Monday, Nov. 3 in the Battle of the Palouse vs. Idaho, the 280th meeting in one of the longest rivalries in college basketball. WSU has won the last six, and seven of the past eight, in a series that dates back to 1906.
