WSU football debuts new helmets for Homecoming game vs. San Diego State

By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State has its first new helmet of the Jimmy Rogers era, and it comes in the form of a slick white version for Saturday’s home game vs. San Diego State at 7:15 p.m. on The CW. It’s a white helmet, with Wazzu in crimson letters. But it’s a little different than some of the script helmets in that the word is written more in block form. It’s similar to the anthracite helmet the Cougars have, where the word is written in crimson.

With the new helmets, the Cougars are going with crimson jerseys for the second-straight week, and crimson pants for the first time this year.
