By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Jimmy Rogers did not have good news when it came to the status of defensive tackle Max Baloun, who left the Apple Cup with a knee injury on Saturday. The 6-6, 285-pound sixth-year from Redfield, S.D., was spotted on crutches and with ice on his knee during the second half of the game, and Rogers’ update wasn’t good.
“Max is hurt and he won’t be playing anytime soon,” Rogers said. “I think he’ll be out for an extended period of time.”
