By Barry Bolton, CougFan: Washington State University athletics is nearing a deal with Playfly Sports, a Philadelphia-area media and marketing company that dubs itself “the leading revenue maximizer in the sports industry,” to become the Cougars’ multimedia rights partner, multiple sources independent of one another tell Cougfan.com.
The move would take place July 1, following the end of WSU’s fiscal year, when the contract expires with current rights holder Learfield.
