By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: More than eight months ago, five Mountain West schools announced their intention to leave the conference for the Pac-12.

Those schools have still not officially resigned from the league. Or if that news has happened, it hasn’t leaked publicly.

But that message must be delivered by Sunday or those five schools — Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Utah State — will see their exit fees double from an estimated $18 million to $36 million.
