Why Nevada athletics is looking at MW+ App as potential big revenue driver

By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: While the Nevada athletic department will begin competition on the field next month with the start of the fall season, the off-the-field competition began July 1.

That’s the day the MW+ App launched as part of the conference’s new media-rights agreement. While the MW App has been around for several years, it got a refresh entering the 2026-27 season. It also went from free to a subscription model.
