By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: Jermaine Cousinard set a new career-high when it mattered most. Facing his old school, Couisnard became the first Duck to ever post 40 points in a NCAA Tournament game.
Couinsard’s 40 points in Oregon’s opening round win over South Carolina replace the 33 scored by TaJuan Porter in the 2007 NCAA Tournament atop the school’s tournament leaderboard. He scored those points in a win over UNLV.
