CBS Sports’ Ben Kercheval broke down several top quarterback transfers into different tiers, ranked on how they could impact their programs in the 2021 season, in an article published by 247 Sports. Brewer made Tier 1, or ‘Playoff hopefuls, league title contenders,’ along with Notre Dame’s Jack Coan, who transferred from Wisconsin.
