Bear Territory: The first blockbuster NFL trade of 2021 went down this past Saturday when the Detroit Lions traded veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for quarterback Jared Goff and multiple future draft picks.
And it’s not just the look of both the Detroit and Los Angeles franchises that the trade drastically impacts either. Projections for the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft are sure to look different following the swap, with any thought of the Lions taking a quarterback now all but out the window.
