What a reverse merger between Pac-12 and MW would have netted in TV revenue

By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports: In an alternate universe, the Mountain West and Pac-12 engineered a reverse merger and everybody avoided the lawsuits and drama that have now drug out over the last nine-plus months.

At one point, that seemed to be the end game for Washington State and Oregon State, which in its scheduling alliance with the MW agreed it would “negotiate in good faith the consummation, as promptly as reasonably practicable, of a definitive transaction pursuant to which all MWC Member Institutions join (the) Pac-12.”

Those negations for a reverse merger never happened, so you could argue Washington State and Oregon State never signed that contract in “good faith” considering it later sued the MW over the poaching penalties it agreed to. But, for the sake of argument, let’s enter the hypothetical world where a reverse merger happened with the 11 full members of the MW joining a rebuilt Pac-12.
