By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: An upset-filled Week 1 of college football delivered and set the stage for what expects to be another action-packed Saturday with high-stakes matchups and thrilling rivalries.
There are two top-25 games that headline the Week 2 schedule as Michigan hosts Texas in a battle of College Football Playoff contenders, while Tennessee faces NC State in a Saturday night tilt in Charlotte. Both out-of-state teams are favorites by more than a touchdown.
In addition to these marquee games, several other matchups have potential to disrupt the national rankings. Kansas State seeks redemption against Tulane, while Iowa aims to assert its dominance in the Cy-Hawk rivalry. Maybe Nebraska sneaks into the top 25 if it takes care of Colorado.
Each of these games could provide unexpected twists and turn the college football season on its head.
