Trojans Wire: Earlier this week, Arizona State made the hiring of USC’s only Buktus Award winner, Chris Claiborne, official. This now means the Trojans have two different graduates on the Sun Devil staff. Claiborne joins Chris Hawkins on Herm Edwards’ staff and gives the Trojans a new way to promote the value of their degrees.
Even if the Trojans don’t put you in the NFL, there is still enough punch to a USC degree that it gives USC graduates a fighting chance to stay in football long after their playing days are done.
