By Lars Hanson, Huskies Wire: To say Tye Kennedy’s final official visit to the University of Washington has been a long time in the making would be an understatement.
The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Mountain View High School offensive tackle and son of Washington legend and College Football Hall of Famer Lincoln Kennedy is set to descend on his father’s alma mater this weekend for his fourth and final official visit after making three previous trips to Stanford (May 22), Utah (June 5), and Michigan (June 12).
Without an offensive tackle secured entering this weekend for the Huskies in the 2027 class, the younger Kennedy is well-positioned to be one of two tackles taken by offensive line coach Michael Switzer and coach Jedd Fisch, along with four-star Rashaun Lavata’i, who wrapped up his official visit in Seattle on Thursday.
