Wayne Tinkle’s new OSU coach contract worth some $17.2 million over 6 years

By Nick Daschel, OregonLive.com: Wayne Tinkle’s extended contract that takes the Oregon State men’s basketball coach through the 2026-27 season will pay him as much as $3 million per season.

Tinkle signed a contract extension Sunday that combined with the old deal totals six years. Tinkle had two years remaining on his previous contract, plus an additional year due to a bonus clause as Oregon State earned an NCAA Tournament berth this year.

Tinkle receives a $300,000 raise next season as his salary rises to $2.5 million, and includes a $100,000 bump each year through the 2026-27 season.
