By Chris Karpman, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State junior defensive tackle MyKeil Gardner will miss his second straight season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon, two people familiar with the injury told Sun Devil Source.
A former top-10 prospect from Arizona’s 2023 class, Gardner made a strong impression this spring after recovering from an Achilles tear suffered in his other leg last summer. He batted down two passes in the team’s final spring scrimmage and chased down running backs for multiple rangy tackles.
